The integration marks a shift in how Home Helpers manages its Cared-4 program, which has utilized Aloe Care technology since 2022. By deploying ConnectAI, the organization intends to move beyond traditional medical alerts, using voice-activated systems to maintain consistent contact with clients via smart hubs, landlines, and mobile devices. This move is designed to provide care teams with actionable insights and early identification of emerging health issues.
Evan Schwartz, Senior Vice President at Arlo Technologies, noted that the combination of conversational AI and professional caregivers is intended to reduce preventable emergencies and falls. From an operational perspective, the automation of routine monitoring tasks is expected to reduce staff burnout, allowing home care providers to dedicate more time to direct, one-on-one patient interaction. Alan Wilson, Senior Director of Technology Solutions at Home Helpers, emphasized that such innovations remain critical to meeting the evolving needs of families who prioritize independence at home.
