Net revenues for the quarter ended May 31, 2026, reached $758.4 million, marking a 31.9% increase from the $575.0 million recorded in the prior year. Operating income also saw substantial growth, climbing to $137.2 million from $14.3 million, as the company managed to keep operating cost growth at 10.8%, significantly lower than its revenue gains.
Alex Peng, President and CFO of TAL, attributed the performance to disciplined execution and operational refinements across the company's business segments. Beyond core operations, the firm’s bottom line was bolstered by $405.2 million in other income, a sharp increase from $9.5 million in the first quarter of 2026. Following these results, the board of directors extended its share repurchase program for an additional 12 months, allowing for the buyback of up to $393.7 million in common shares through July 2027.
