The system streamlines the installation process by allowing users to scan their outdoor space via smartphone. The app identifies specific lighting fixtures and environmental features—such as lounge areas or decking—to assign logical names and organize the layout without human intervention. Once configured, users can manage the ambiance through natural language commands, such as requesting subtle illumination for a tree or setting a mood for a dinner party.
Wilbrand Menzo, Director of Product at in-lite, noted that the technology is designed to reduce complexity for both installers and homeowners, shifting the focus from technical setup to the actual use of the space. While the official rollout is slated for the end of 2026, tech professionals can currently access a beta version of the software at company showrooms in Gorinchem, Netherlands, and Mississauga, Canada.
