Lightspeed Shareholders Approve All Proposals at Annual Meeting

Lightspeed Commerce Inc. shareholders have ratified a full slate of company proposals during the annual and special meeting held on July 30, 2026. The votes confirmed the reappointment of the board of directors and the renewal of the firm's incentive plan, signaling broad investor support for the current leadership strategy.

The Montreal-based commerce platform secured strong backing for its seven director nominees, with Dax Dasilva leading the group with 99.79% of the vote. Shareholders also voted to retain PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the company’s independent auditors, with 99.54% of ballots cast in favor of the appointment.

While the company’s executive compensation approach received a comfortable 98.16% approval rating, the vote regarding the Amended and Restated Omnibus Incentive Plan proved more contentious. Approximately 29.96% of shareholders opposed the resolution to extend the plan's term to its tenth anniversary and authorize unallocated entitlements, though it ultimately passed with 70.04% support. Detailed voting results are now accessible through regulatory filings on SEDAR+ and EDGAR.
