The event transforms the 1888 resort, once a private retreat for the Rockefeller and Vanderbilt families, into a curated hub for art, jewelry, and historical heirlooms. According to managing director Shane Pappas, the marketplace is designed to foster connections between collectors and craftspeople. Founder Kelly Broome-Smith noted that the expanded programming aims to deepen the engagement between designers and the exhibitor community.
Public access includes a range of ticketed events, including a murder mystery dinner, a vintage automobile showcase dubbed Braderie Boulevard, and a high tea session with Gray Benko. Guests staying at the resort receive complimentary market access, while industry professionals can secure specialized passes for priority Q&A sessions. The weekend concludes with a series of social gatherings, including the Caviar, Croquet & Champagne kickoff and late-night shopping sessions in the Hall of Mirrors.
