The product launch follows a January 2026 survey of 3,119 participants, which revealed that consumers prioritize a lack of hidden costs above almost all other lending features. FlexFund operates exclusively through a mobile app or website, removing the need for physical store visits—a preference shared by 56% of prospective customers.
Approved users receive a revolving credit limit, allowing them to draw as little as $50 or their full balance without the friction of reapplying. Instead of interest, the model relies on two specific charges: an Advance Fee applied at the time of withdrawal and a Statement Fee calculated against the remaining balance at the end of each cycle. As the balance is paid down, these costs adjust accordingly. Travis Gonzalez, Chief Product Officer at Advance America, noted that the structure was engineered specifically to meet the consumer mandate for predictable repayment terms. The service is currently active in Alabama, Delaware, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Wisconsin, with plans for broader geographic availability.
