The stadium, which serves as the home ground for Bristol City and Bristol Bears, installed two units in the Dolman Concourse and one in the South Stand Concourse. Supporters can now access a variety of refreshments including draught beer, wine, soft drinks, and hot food through the automated system. The integration follows consultations with local fan groups to ensure the layout meets matchday needs.
Ross Wormald, Chief Operating Officer at Ashton Gate, noted that the venue was designed to be forward-thinking and that this implementation represents a significant step in improving the overall visitor experience. By utilizing multi-dispense units, the stadium also expects to provide faster service for drinks like Guinness and Thatchers Gold, further modernizing the hospitality infrastructure for both football and rugby fixtures.
