Quandt previously served as ADAMA’s Deputy General Counsel starting in January 2026, where he focused on litigation, governance, and strengthening internal legal partnerships. His transition to the top legal post follows a thirteen-year tenure at Syngenta, where he oversaw legal support across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, while also managing global mergers and acquisitions and corporate venture capital transactions.
CEO Gael Hili cited Quandt’s international experience and sound judgment as key drivers for the appointment, noting that the move is intended to bolster the company’s ongoing transformation. Quandt, who holds an LL.M. from Duke University, emphasized the need for navigating complex global regulatory environments to support agricultural innovation. He replaces the previous leadership structure to manage ADAMA's legal affairs across its diverse markets.
