Under the terms of the contract, the firm will deploy specialized cloud solutions across its Australian AI Factory infrastructure. Initial operations are scheduled to utilize 2,048 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra B300 GPUs, with the company planning a broader hardware expansion to 64,000 NVIDIA GPUs by the middle of 2027. This move brings the company's total contracted capacity to 120MW of its available 132MW facility footprint.
James Manning, CEO and co-founder of Sharon AI, noted that the agreement serves as a milestone in scaling the company’s infrastructure to meet rising demand from global enterprises and government entities. Beyond the immediate financial impact, the rollout is designed to bolster Australia’s sovereign AI capabilities, positioning the country as a regional hub for data-intensive research and commercial development.
