Holland Industrial Reschedules Dominican Republic Equipment Auction

Contractors and infrastructure developers across Latin America have extra time to prepare for a major asset sale, as Holland Industrial Group pushes its webcast auction of former SOCOCO construction machinery to September 2. The event features a late-model fleet of earthmoving equipment currently staged in the Dominican Republic.

The revised schedule aims to accommodate buyers throughout Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean, providing a wider window to inspect assets and complete registration. The catalog centers on machinery previously deployed in large-scale infrastructure projects, including high-capacity units like the 2016 Caterpillar 773G water tank truck. Alex Holland, president of the auction firm, noted that the Dominican location serves as a strategic gateway for international logistics, offering a viable alternative to the long lead times and high capital requirements of the new equipment market.

Prospective bidders can participate remotely via the live webcast format. Those interested in physical assessment must schedule appointments for inspections prior to the sale. Following the September 2 auction, the checkout window for acquired assets will run from September 3 through September 22. Detailed bidding terms and machine specifications are available through Holland Industrial Group, with logistics coordination managed by Shawn Gaffney.
