Entergy Louisiana Awards $35 Million Efficiency Contract to ICF

Entergy Louisiana has tapped Reston-based consultancy ICF for a $35 million contract to manage its residential, commercial, and industrial energy efficiency portfolio. The initiative aims to lower consumer utility costs while bolstering grid reliability through a four-year program lifecycle supported by advanced data analytics and targeted customer engagement.

The partnership will see ICF oversee program design, technical support, and performance tracking across the utility's entire Louisiana customer base. By integrating these disparate programs under a unified structure, the utility intends to streamline operations while maintaining the flexibility to customize offerings for specific sectors. ICF plans to deploy its Sightline platform to monitor demand spikes and identify high-impact energy-saving opportunities.

According to Heather LeBlanc, Entergy Louisiana’s manager of energy efficiency, the utility will distribute more than $100 million in incentives over the next four years. Kyle Wiggins, senior vice president at ICF, noted that the strategy treats customer participation as a strategic grid asset. The deal extends a decade-long relationship between the two companies and reinforces ICF’s broader footprint in managing demand-response programs for major North American utilities.
