The On The Beach Brighton festival recently concluded another season utilizing Boxbar’s containerized units, which maintained consistent performance throughout the event despite high temperatures. James Bott, co-founder of Boxbar, noted that the festival has become a recurring client, citing significant revenue growth compared to previous years. The deployment relied on patent-pending, branded container bars designed to handle high-volume demand while ensuring rapid service times.
Simultaneously, Butlin’s has completed a large-scale integration of 119 automated terminals across its Bognor Regis, Minehead, and Skegness resorts. This deployment, currently the largest of its kind, covers a mix of mobile and fixed TapWall installations. By automating the pouring process—capable of dispensing two drinks in six seconds—the company intends to mitigate queueing during peak trading periods. Reshad Hossenally, CEO of Boxbar, highlighted that the scale of this project demonstrates the viability of automation in complex, year-round operating environments with high guest turnover. The technology has been fully integrated into the resorts' existing infrastructure, including support for All Inclusive Drinks packages.
