By streaming data to GlacierGrid’s platform, the system identifies issues like airflow restrictions, refrigerant leaks, and failing components before they trigger expensive emergency breakdowns. This visibility mirrors the building management systems found in corporate headquarters, but avoids the high installation costs typically required for such infrastructure.

Scription CEO Gerritt Graham emphasizes that data alone is insufficient for small operators who lack dedicated facilities teams. By bundling monitoring with annual fixed-price service contracts, the company creates a model where the service provider is financially accountable for the equipment's health. This shifts the operational paradigm from reactive repair to proactive maintenance, extending the life of hardware while stabilizing energy costs for businesses that previously operated without such oversight.

The partnership leverages Scription’s existing network of insurance brokers and commercial real estate partners to scale the deployment. By reaching customers through these established intermediaries, the companies bypass the need for a massive field sales force.
