The program features a series of expert-led seminars covering entrepreneurship, networking, and career branding. Sessions include guidance on creating professional one-sheets, managing marketing consistency during life changes, and leveraging military-specific constraints as competitive advantages. The sessions will be live-streamed, ensuring accessibility for spouses in both active-duty and veteran households regardless of their geographic location.
Beyond the virtual seminars, the National Military Spouse Network (NMSN) will host an in-person networking event, Future Ready: Building Careers Without Borders, on September 30 in Pentagon City. This reception connects attendees with leaders across government, non-profit, and corporate sectors for targeted mentoring. Wells Fargo is supporting the initiative through its Homefront Heroes Hiring program, which focuses on recruiting military spouses into flexible, hybrid, and remote roles. NMSN founder Sue Hoppin emphasized that the summit is designed to bridge the gap between highly adaptable talent and business leaders seeking skilled professionals.
