C&D Technologies Debuts High-Capacity Battery Systems for Telecom

The upcoming exhibition, scheduled for September 29 through October 1, 2026, marks the public introduction of the Broadband MAX Pure Lead AGM and Gel battery lines. C&D Technologies is also providing a first look at the TEL-HT MAX, an addition to its high-temperature portfolio. According to Jon Anderson, the company’s Chief Technology Officer, these products are engineered to support the convergence of broadband, mobile, and Edge technologies, which currently place unprecedented stress on existing backup power systems.

The TEL-HT MAX is particularly focused on efficiency, promising service providers a reduction in total cost of ownership by up to 20% through extended maintenance intervals. These units join an existing suite of hardware, including the Pure Lead Max and msEndur II series, which are built to withstand extreme environmental conditions. By showcasing these technologies at booth G1332, C&D intends to provide network operators with strategies to optimize their power reserves as industry requirements shift toward more intelligent, high-density infrastructure.
