Subaru and Motorq partner to eliminate aftermarket fleet hardware

For years, fleet administrators have relied on aftermarket hardware to monitor vehicle health and location, a process often plagued by installation costs and hardware failures. By integrating Subaru’s Connected Services with Motorq’s Fuse AI, the new program allows operators to pull odometer readings, diagnostic trouble codes, and location data directly from the car's sensors. This shift removes the need for physical device management, allowing for centralized driver consent and streamlined enrollment processes.

Arun Rajagopalan, CEO of Motorq, stated that the integration bridges the gap between factory-installed connectivity and enterprise software, reducing the total cost of ownership. The data, once normalized by Motorq, provides automated insights aimed at predicting maintenance needs before breakdowns occur. The program covers both gas and hybrid 2027 models, with connectivity options available at the point of vehicle order. This move expands Motorq’s reach to 13 global original equipment manufacturers, further consolidating its position in the connected vehicle intelligence market.
