Dr. David H. Lifschutz Honored for Five Decades of Psychiatric Care

Dr. Lifschutz treats adolescents and adults aged 13 and older, utilizing a blend of comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and evidence-informed psychotherapy. His practice emphasizes Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) alongside specialized interventions for trauma recovery. Beyond standard clinical care, he has developed a niche expertise in aviation mental health, drawing on his own background as a private pilot with over 500 flight hours to assist airmen in navigating FAA and HIMS-related psychological challenges.

His academic and clinical foundations include a medical degree from the University of Wisconsin and extensive residency training at the University of Southern California and Los Angeles County USC Medical Center.
