The demonstration, scheduled for September 27-30 at booth 540, highlights the maturation of the company’s autonomous ecosystem. By utilizing the R-noid to handle internal kitchen tasks that feed directly into the R-kiwi delivery system, Robot.com aims to show campus operators how human-like labor can be integrated into existing food logistics. This development arrives as the company reports over 350,000 completed deliveries across 50 campuses.
Chief Business Officer J. Kim Fennell emphasized that the display is intended to move beyond pilot concepts, showcasing a platform with seven years of real-world deployment data. The integration is powered by REMI, the company’s proprietary fleet management platform, which already coordinates the R-kiwi for deliveries and the R-cargo for larger transport. This infrastructure is also expected to support the upcoming R-dog, a four-legged robot designed to navigate stairs, slated for commercial campus introduction in early 2027.
Growth remains a central focus for the San Francisco-based firm. Following a recent three-year agreement extension with Grubhub—expanding service to 10 additional campuses—and a seven-year deal with Sodexo to scale autonomous delivery and digital advertising, the company is aggressively embedding its fleet into North American higher education dining.
