While Wahlberg previously hinted in a December 2025 interview that his sons’ requests might eventually draw them to the West Coast, McCarthy clarified their immediate plans on Instagram. “Going to Vegas. Not Cali,” she wrote in response to reports suggesting a California move.

The transition to Las Vegas aligns with the couple's recent lifestyle, as Wahlberg has spent significant time there for his New Kids on the Block residency at Park MGM’s Dolby Live. McCarthy has frequently utilized the time to host pop-up shops for her cosmetics brand, Formless Beauty, and has become a regular at local wellness centers like Desert Moon Wellness. With Wahlberg’s brother, Mark, also maintaining a home in the city and operating his restaurant, Flecha Cantina, the move places the couple firmly within the orbit of their professional and personal interests in Nevada.
