Lazard Appoints Pranjal Gambhir to Lead Medical Technology Group

Gambhir joins the firm after a 20-year tenure at Citi, where he most recently served as Managing Director. His career has spanned roles in both New York and New Delhi, providing him with a broad perspective on the complexities facing medical device manufacturers and health tech firms. David Gluckman, Global Head of Healthcare at Lazard, noted that the hire adds depth to the firm’s existing practice as the sector undergoes rapid transformation.

In his new capacity, Gambhir will focus on guiding boards and leadership teams through the evolving landscape of mergers, acquisitions, and capital solutions. He holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business and a Bachelor of Commerce from Delhi University. This appointment is part of Lazard's ongoing efforts to expand its advisory footprint across global markets.
