Potomac Bank Charity Drive Hits $120,000 Milestone for Local Children

The initiative, managed by Potomac Bank employees, provides $30,000 to each of its four partner organizations: Berkeley County Backpack Program, Community Combined Ministries, HARC/Micah's Backpack, and Fueled. This capital infusion enables the purchase of enough food to fill over 11,000 backpacks, ensuring children have consistent nutrition throughout the weekend. Since the foundation’s inception in 2019, it has directed $601,000 toward local food-insecurity initiatives.

Alice P. Frazier, President and CEO of Potomac Bank, noted that the success of the campaign relied on a collective effort from bank clients, vendors, and community members. The donations serve as a critical resource for these programs, which operate independently to identify and support families within the bank’s service area. The foundation remains a core component of the bank’s community outreach, focusing on direct support for the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia and surrounding regions.
