Envision Energy Secures European and Australian Turbine Certifications

The EN-182/6.25MW turbine model has officially achieved Spanish Grid Code Compliance under the NTS 2.1 standard. This certification is a prerequisite for project financing and deployment across Europe, ensuring the hardware meets the rigorous technical demands of the Spanish national grid. By clearing this regulatory hurdle, Envision aims to accelerate its adoption rate among European developers.

Simultaneously, the company’s Nabralift 3.MAX HH188 lattice tower technology, paired with the EN-182/7.8MW turbine, received Type Certification for the Australian market. With a hub height of 188 meters, this configuration allows operators to harvest stronger wind resources at higher altitudes. This independent validation provides a technical bridge for large-scale deployment in Australian regions where site flexibility is critical to project viability.

Senior Vice President Yimin Lou noted that the competitive landscape in wind energy has shifted from simple performance metrics toward grid compatibility and lifecycle compliance. Kai Grigutsch, representing UL Solutions, emphasized that these certifications illustrate a broader industry trend toward adapting turbine platforms to meet diverse regional technical standards. Envision plans to leverage this momentum to expand its certified portfolio across additional international territories.
