Delta Electronics Partners with NVIDIA on Level 4 Autonomous Driving

The collaboration merges Delta’s expertise in high-performance computing and powertrain integration with NVIDIA’s DRIVE AGX Thor and the Halos safety system. This technical alignment targets the complex demands of autonomous navigation, where power efficiency and safety-critical compute performance remain the primary barriers to mass-market adoption.

James Tang, executive vice president at Delta, noted that the partnership validates the company’s pivot toward high-end mobility and smart vehicle infrastructure. For NVIDIA, the move leans on Delta’s existing relationships with global automakers to push the Hyperion platform deeper into the commercial supply chain. Both firms intend to leverage this synergy to scale AI-driven driving solutions, moving beyond experimental prototypes toward scalable, industry-standard autonomous systems.
