Alison Hoffman, President of STARZ Networks, stated that the company has been negotiating in good faith to maintain uninterrupted service. She warned that removing the network from the platform would stifle competition and limit consumer choice, particularly for audiences seeking programming alternatives to content produced by larger media conglomerates.
Should the blackout occur, Verizon subscribers will lose access to flagship series including the "Power" universe, the "Outlander" franchise, "P-Valley," and "S.W.A.T. Exiles." The potential removal also encompasses the network’s upcoming slate, such as the drama "Tip Toe." While STARZ continues to position itself as a vital independent programmer, the dispute underscores the increasingly volatile nature of carriage negotiations between content creators and major television distributors.
