The expansion brings seven attorneys to the firm, including partners Daniel Zumpano, Joe Ruiz, and Giselle Ortiz Del Amo. Tony Castro and Stephen Machin join as of counsel, while Emilio Dominguez steps in as an associate. For the next two years, the team will maintain dual roles, continuing their work at Zumpano Castro while spearheading the growth of the new Fisher Phillips location. This hybrid structure is designed to leverage the established reputation of the local boutique while scaling operations within the larger national platform.
Fisher Phillips Chairman John Polson cited local credibility and cultural fluency as the primary drivers for the partnership. Beyond traditional employment litigation and compliance, the move significantly bolsters the firm’s professional employer organization (PEO) practice. By merging two of the country’s most prominent PEO teams, the firm aims to expand its advocacy and counseling capabilities for clients across Florida and the national market.
