Caron currently serves as the chief financial officer at A10 Networks. Her appointment brings nearly three decades of financial leadership to the Toronto and Dallas-based firm, including extensive experience within Danaher Corporation’s life sciences subsidiaries, such as Beckman Coulter and Pall. Perimeter CEO Adrian Mendes noted that her background will prove critical as the company transitions from development into a more aggressive phase of commercial growth.
For her part, Caron intends to apply her operational expertise to the advancement of the company’s Claire OCT system. This device is designed to provide real-time, high-resolution imaging to assist surgeons in identifying breast cancer margins during lumpectomy procedures. By adding a seasoned financial strategist to its board, Perimeter aims to strengthen its corporate governance while navigating the complexities of the medical technology landscape.
