The campaign, known as Flags of Fellowship, serves as a visual and vocal demonstration of solidarity amid a rise in international anti-Semitism. Participating churches, synagogues, and universities will display fields of 1,200 mini flags while hosting worship services and community gatherings. The movement’s reach has expanded significantly beyond North America, with 1,775 international organizations joining from nations including Australia, India, South Africa, and the United Arab Emirates.
Growth is largely attributed to a new hub model, where leading churches act as regional distribution centers. In Colombia alone, approximately 1,000 churches are set to display 1.2 million flags. Yael Eckstein, President and Global CEO of The Fellowship, describes the initiative as a spiritual declaration of friendship rather than a political statement. Since 2023, the organization has committed $432 million in aid to Israel, providing emergency food, security equipment, and support for vulnerable populations affected by the ongoing conflict.
