The collaboration, witnessed by Norwegian Minister of Trade and Industry Cecilie Myrseth, marks a decade of evolution for the KSATlite service. Launched in 2016, the network maintains a 99.8% contact success rate, a reliability standard Xoople intends to leverage as it constructs its "Earth’s System of Record." This platform aims to provide a continuous, high-fidelity representation of physical changes across the planet for AI-driven enterprise applications.
Beyond simple connectivity, the agreement mandates the expansion of the KSATlite infrastructure. The two companies are co-developing faster data-routing protocols and new service endpoints designed to automate satellite operations. These technical upgrades will be integrated into the standard KSATlite offering, providing future operators with more efficient pathways to process large volumes of geospatial intelligence. According to KSAT CEO Marte Indregard, the ambitious requirements set by Xoople serve as a catalyst for broader network capabilities, ensuring the infrastructure keeps pace with the demands of modern, high-frequency space missions.
