The latest campaign involved 4,562 meters of diamond drilling across ten holes, targeting extensions outside the company’s 2024 mineral resource estimate. Operations were conducted from Level 16, located 720 meters below the surface. According to 1911 Gold, the findings confirm the potential to expand the existing resource base, with gold mineralization successfully extended by 60 meters above the 710-711 zone and 120 meters below the 007 zone.
Shaun Heinrichs, President and CEO, noted that the data will be integrated into the ongoing resource update, which also incorporates findings from the San Antonio and Hinge zones. The company is currently utilizing three underground drill rigs to support its development strategy, with plans to mobilize a fourth rig following site rehabilitation. These exploration activities remain a cornerstone of 1911 Gold’s broader effort to establish a district-scale mining operation at its Rice Lake property.
