The MPS Series utilizes cylindrical Mixed Metal Oxide cells and integrated battery management systems to prolong cycle life and ensure adherence to UN 38.3 transportation standards. Initially launching in 21.6 V and 43.2 V configurations, the units can be upgraded with advanced fuel gauging, communication capabilities, and active cell balancing to meet specific performance demands.
Manufacturing takes place at the company’s Oregon facility, which holds ISO 9001:2015 and AS 9100D certifications. Beyond commercial use, the production environment is registered under International Traffic in Arms Regulations, positioning the product line for integration into defense and military hardware that requires compliance with the National Defense Authorization Act. CEO Chuck Weitzel noted that the expansion aims to provide clients with a premium alternative to custom development while leveraging the firm’s extensive background in battery design and mandatory safety testing.
