This shift involves expanding training into high-demand sectors like semiconductor fabrication, critical facilities, and advanced manufacturing alongside its established cloud and cybersecurity programs.
Per Scholas currently reports an 85% graduation rate and claims that its alumni see an average wage increase of 2.5 times their pre-training earnings. By doubling down on AI-resistant roles and infrastructure-focused technical skills, the nonprofit aims to maintain an economic return of $8 for every dollar invested. Partners such as Cognizant and Focusing Philanthropy have signaled support for this transition, emphasizing the need for flexible, industry-aligned training models that keep pace with the evolving demands of the AI era.
