Kelly Kennedy Joins RKD Group as Chief Financial Officer

CEO Kevin Jones cited Kennedy’s background in managing complex organizational growth as a primary driver for the hire. Her previous tenure included leadership roles at Shopify, PepsiCo, and Target, where she focused on capital planning, mergers, and strategic decision-making. At RKD, she will direct the firm’s financial infrastructure to bolster its fundraising and marketing services for clients such as The Salvation Army and Susan G. Komen.

Kennedy arrives as the nonprofit sector faces increasing pressure to demonstrate impact through digital transformation and donor engagement. She intends to leverage her experience in operational finance to scale the agency’s capabilities, aiming to unlock greater value for clients while supporting the firm’s internal development.
