Acbel Unveils High-Density Power Infrastructure for AI Data Centers

San Jose will host the OCP Global Summit from October 13–15, where Acbel Polytech Inc. intends to debut its latest high-density power shelves. The company aims to address the escalating power demands of AI computing by demonstrating new solutions capable of supporting both ±400V/800V DC and 50V DC architectures.

As AI processing requirements push server rack power to new heights, Acbel is responding with hardware designed to maximize output within restricted footprints. The company’s 100kW Power Shelf, housed in a 1OU form factor, offers adjustable output for either ±400V or 800V architectures, providing the deployment flexibility necessary for modern data center environments. For 50V DC infrastructure, Acbel is highlighting a 19-inch 72kW Power Shelf utilizing 12kW modules that reach a power density of 102 W/in³ and hold 80 PLUS Ruby certification.

Beyond current product offerings, the firm is shifting focus toward liquid-cooled power technologies to mitigate thermal challenges inherent in high-density AI platforms. Sven Lee, Vice President of Power and Energy Solutions, noted that these developments are essential as customers demand greater efficiency and reliability in increasingly crowded rack spaces. Acbel will showcase these technologies at booth F3 alongside its subsidiary, OmniOn Power, signaling a push to deepen integration with major server manufacturers and cloud service providers.
