Vizsla Silver Shareholders Confirm Board and Advance Rights Plan

With 188.58 million shares voted, Vizsla Silver Corp. shareholders reached a quorum of 53.11% at the annual general and special meeting held in Vancouver on October 8. The assembly resulted in the confirmation of a seven-person board and the formal renewal of the company’s shareholder rights plan.

Investors backed the full slate of director nominees, including Craig Parry, Michael Konnert, Simon Cmrlec, Harry Pokrandt, David Cobbold, Eduardo Luna, and Suki Gill. Voting support for individual directors varied, with Michael Konnert receiving 99.78% approval, while David Cobbold saw 58.75% support. Beyond the board elections, the meeting saw the appointment of Deloitte LLP as the company's auditor and the successful continuation of the Shareholder Rights Plan.

Vizsla Silver currently focuses on its Panuco silver-gold project in Sinaloa, Mexico. According to a feasibility study released in November 2025, the project targets an annual production of 17.4 million ounces of silver equivalent over a 9.4-year mine life. Management is currently aiming for a production launch in the second half of 2028, pending the completion of necessary engineering, financing, and regulatory permitting.
