The Philly Smoke face the Boston Butchers this Saturday at Roadrunner, marking the start of a new broadcast partnership between the Team Boxing League and NESN. The deal places select TBL bouts on the network’s regional and national platforms for the remainder of the 2026 season.
This collaboration signals a strategic push for the league, which aims to leverage NESN’s established reach across New England to introduce its team-centric format to a broader audience. TBL CEO Kevin Cassidy noted the move as a vital step in exposing the league's tournament-style boxing to one of the most dedicated sports markets in the United States.Negotiated by Vinny DiMarco, the agreement integrates TBL into a network portfolio that already includes major-market staples like the Boston Red Sox and Bruins. For TBL, which features 12 teams competing in a series of weight classes, the exposure offers a path to scale its presence beyond its current niche. Fans can access the coverage via NESN, NESN+, and the NESN Nation streaming channel.
