With a claimed five-minute assembly time, the new LUNYEE 3020 Nova CNC router aims to strip away the technical barriers typically facing desktop manufacturing beginners. The Hong Kong-based brand is positioning this $599 machine as a bridge between hobbyist ease and industrial-grade mechanical precision for small-scale production.

The 3020 Nova arrives with its core frame and drive systems pre-assembled and factory-tested, requiring users only to attach the Z-axis module to begin. LUNYEE estimates that a first-time user can move from unboxing to running a toolpath in roughly 30 minutes, a significant reduction in the setup time often associated with desktop CNC platforms.

Under the hood, the machine moves away from entry-level belt drives, opting for HGH-15 industrial-grade square linear rails and 1204 ball screws across all three axes. This architecture enables a maximum travel speed of 5,000 mm/min with a positional accuracy of ±0.05 mm. Power is supplied by a 710W trim router spindle, which the manufacturer notes is capable of handling acrylic, wood, plastics, and soft metals.

The device is currently available through the company's official website with global shipping options. Early adopters can access an 8% discount using the code LY3020, valid through June 30, 2026.
