The Cornelius facility is the first of five sites planned by Hess for the greater Charlotte area. With 12 locations already slated for the region, Charlotte has become the brand’s first fully sold-out market. This expansion follows a busy inaugural year for the franchisor, which has successfully sold more than 75 territories nationwide. The brand currently operates two corporate-owned sites in Cincinnati, but the focus has now pivoted toward scaling its footprint through local owner-operators.
Another Nine’s model relies on its proprietary A9OS technology to facilitate a membership-free experience. Guests book private simulator suites by the hour, accessing Trackman-powered gameplay on over 350 virtual courses at any time of day. By removing traditional food and beverage components, the company offers a streamlined, low-overhead operating structure for franchisees. As the brand targets further growth in the Midwest and Northeast, co-founder Ethan Grob identified the Cornelius launch as a proof-of-concept for the company’s broader strategy: pairing the right local operators with high-demand suburban markets.
