The organization’s flagship initiative, Dressed In Dignity, functions as a high-end shopping experience where families select brand-new clothing at no cost. Since its inception, the project has distributed over 50,000 items to 17,000 individuals across seven U.S. cities, facilitating more than $2.5 million in apparel donations. The award committee selected the nonprofit for the Social Justice category after evaluating its impact, scalability, and creative approach to social service delivery.
Eric Rojas, founder of both the nonprofit and the creative agency Six+One, maintains that design and compassion are essential tools for reform. The organization is currently preparing to open a permanent location in Paterson, New Jersey. This move marks a shift from temporary pop-up events to a year-round community resource that will offer mentorship, job-readiness training, and creative programs alongside its core clothing services. The full list of 2026 honorees appears in Fast Company’s Summer issue, showcasing projects that leverage design to address systemic challenges.
