Polymarket Secures Bundesliga Partnership to Expand U.S. Betting Footprint

The German Bundesliga has tapped Polymarket as its official prediction market partner in the United States, marking the league's first regional sponsorship deal facilitated by the sports media group Relevent. Starting with the 2026-27 season, the platform will offer fans new ways to engage with match outcomes through event contracts.

The multi-year agreement allows Polymarket to leverage Bundesliga intellectual property for its prediction markets. While the deal deepens the league's commercial footprint in North America, Sportradar remains the exclusive provider of official league data, meaning any data integration for the platform will require a separate commercial arrangement. This move aligns with the league's ongoing strategy to cultivate its American audience, a project bolstered by a long-term collaboration with New York-based Relevent established in 2024.

For Polymarket, the Bundesliga adds to an expanding roster of major sports partnerships that already includes LALIGA, Serie A, MLB, and the NHL. Ari Borod, President of Sports Business Development at Polymarket, noted that the partnership is designed to offer the U.S. fanbase a credible framework for event-based trading. The collaboration arrives as the league continues to scale its regional operations, including the launch of a dedicated content studio in Guadalajara, Mexico, aimed at producing localized programming for fans across the Americas.
