Mattamy Homes Expands Villages of Hurricane Creek for First-Time Buyers

Forty-foot homesites and three distinct floorplans are hitting the market in North Texas as Mattamy Homes opens the latest phase of its Villages of Hurricane Creek development. The expansion targets first-time buyers in Anna, blending suburban affordability with connectivity to major employment hubs in Plano and the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The developer has introduced the Alford, Hamilton II, and Bonhill designs, bringing the neighborhood's total offerings to 10 available floorplans. This expansion underscores a broader push to capture the entry-level market in one of the region's fastest-growing corridors. To date, the builder has completed 150 homes in the development, with plans to reach a total of 1,300 residences by 2029.

Beyond the residential footprint, the community integrates 50,000 square feet of planned retail and dining space alongside a dedicated elementary school. Residents currently have access to a clubhouse, pool, and trail systems. According to John Kuntz, Division President of Mattamy Homes' Dallas Division, the project aims to balance value and space for families navigating a competitive North Texas market. Situated just west of U.S. Highway 75, the site maintains direct access to historic downtown McKinney while positioning itself as a strategic node for commuters.
