The 2026 academic year marks a significant expansion for the program, which will disburse $409,000 in total funding. Of that, $160,000 is dedicated to the 50 new scholarship winners, 78% of whom are first-generation college students. The remaining $249,000 provides ongoing support for previous recipients, ensuring continuity for those pursuing degrees at universities, community colleges, and vocational schools.
Renamed in 2024 to honor the late chairman and co-founder J. Anthony Antonelli, the scholarship reflects his personal history of overcoming educational barriers while growing up in a mobile home community. Beyond financial aid, the program connects students with one-on-one mentoring and online resources to improve retention. According to CEO Robbie Pratt, the growth from two initial recipients to over 100 students demonstrates the impact of long-term investment in residents. To qualify, students must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA and reside within a Havenpark property, a criteria that has already seen 51 participants complete their programs to date.
