The store officially opens its doors at 12pm, featuring a curated selection of vinyl plush blind boxes, beauty accessories, and lifestyle goods. To mark the launch, the brand has scheduled a meet-and-greet with its mascot, PenPen, alongside a promotion offering goody bags to the first 200 customers who make a minimum purchase of £5.
Saad Usman, Chief Operating Officer at MINISO UK, identified the mall’s dynamic customer base as a key factor in selecting the location. He noted that the store is designed to resonate with Gen Z and Alpha shoppers while remaining accessible to Millennial families. Katie Searle, Director of Asset Management at Sovereign Centros by CBRE, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing that the addition of the brand aligns with the mall’s strategy to evolve its retail lineup for a younger, growing residential population.
