The MG Concept Motor promises a significant shift in e-bike performance, boasting gear changes in under 0.1 seconds. By utilizing an internal unit, the system allows for seamless shifting under high-torque conditions and even while stationary. Riders can toggle between manual control and AI-driven cadence modes, a design choice intended to simplify maintenance by removing rear derailleurs and multi-speed cassettes entirely. The platform is engineered to be modular, fitting a wide range of categories from eMTB to eGravel, while maintaining structural rigidity for loads exceeding 150kg.
Beyond the concept hardware, the company is showcasing its Smoothshift electronic drivetrain, which is currently making its market debut on the new Amflow TL SUV e-bike. This system manages torque reduction during shifts to protect the drivetrain and extend component life. Avinox is using its presence at Eurobike to host a series of technical workshops involving 19 partner brands, highlighting the rapid expansion of its ecosystem just months after the launch of its M2 and M2S motors. Having secured over 60 OEM partnerships since its inception, the company is positioning its technology as a core component for the next generation of electric mobility.
