Veeva Systems Launches EHS Application to Automate Risk Management

Manufacturing and testing facilities face a new standard for operational safety as Veeva Systems introduces its EHS application. By integrating environmental, health, and safety workflows directly into the Veeva Quality Cloud, the platform aims to replace fragmented legacy systems with real-time risk identification and automated compliance protocols.

The new software enables on-the-spot incident reporting and manages investigations through a unified digital interface. By linking directly to existing Veeva QMS and Training modules, the system triggers automatic quality deviations and assigns specific retraining tasks the moment a safety event is logged. This connectivity eliminates manual data entry, reducing the likelihood of administrative errors while maintaining global compliance standards.

Bobbie Grant, global senior EHS manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, noted that the platform creates a necessary foundation for AI-driven risk reduction. Beth Tanner, vice president of EHS strategy at Veeva, added that shifting to this unified model provides leadership with transparency into leading risk indicators, moving organizations from reactive measures toward proactive prevention. Early adopter access to the application is scheduled to begin in August 2026.
