Gehre brings over 25 years of experience to the role, having previously held senior positions at major retailers including Bass Pro Shops, Michaels, and H-E-B. He steps into the leadership role as the company looks to scale its ability to provide actionable intelligence for store operations. According to Rafael Renno, a senior executive at Badger’s parent company Jabil, Gehre’s background in merchandising and supply chain strategy is intended to help clients navigate increasingly complex retail environments.
Alongside the CEO appointment, the company has promoted Chris Green to Chief Commercial Officer and Paul Ambruso to Chief Technology Officer. To support its long-term strategy, Badger Technologies has also formed an inaugural advisory board featuring industry veterans from organizations such as Walmart, Rite Aid, and Kroger. These appointments come as the firm attempts to bridge the gap between physical retail execution and digital transformation through its specialized AI and robotics platforms.
