Gallery Weekend Beijing celebrated its decade-long milestone with 61 distinct exhibitions, while the Beijing Dangdai Art Fair drew 144 exhibitors from 49 cities, cementing the capital's status as a formidable global art hub.
Beyond traditional museum settings, the festival permeated innovation parks and public districts through digital installations and outdoor sculptures. State-owned enterprises collaborated to push art into everyday life, supported by new initiatives like NFC-enabled ticketing and integrated tourism packages. International collaboration remained at the forefront, highlighted by a UNESCO-backed children’s exhibition and cultural exchange programs involving Georgia and Brazil.
