Pelco CEO Paul Koenig will retain his leadership role and continue as a significant shareholder alongside Dominus. The company, founded in 1985, integrates brands including Pelco Products, TraffiCalm, PedSafety, Component Products, and Novax. These entities provide hardware deployed in all 50 U.S. states and Canada. Koenig noted that the alignment of values and long-term vision made Dominus the preferred partner for the firm’s next phase of expansion.
Ashish Rughwani, a founding partner at Dominus Capital, highlighted Pelco’s history of successful integration, noting that the business has absorbed four complementary companies in recent years. The investment strategy will focus on both organic development and future acquisitions. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Kroll Securities served as the financial advisor for Pelco, with legal counsel provided by Holland & Knight, while White & Case represented Dominus.
