ACG Metals Secures Keşkek Gold Project to Extend Gediktepe Lifespan

ACG Metals has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the Keşkek gold project in Türkiye for $7.85 million, aiming to secure a vital supply of oxide ore. The deal allows the company to leverage its existing Gediktepe infrastructure, extending its gold production profile by several years beyond current projections.

The acquisition involves an initial cash payment of $4 million, with a further $3.85 million deferred until the project hits production, expected by mid-2027. Located just 70 km from the Gediktepe mine, the Keşkek site covers 666 hectares and contains an estimated 300,000 tonnes of oxide ore. By processing this material through its proprietary heap-leach facility, ACG expects to achieve gold recoveries of up to 85 percent.

Artem Volynets, CEO of ACG, described the move as a disciplined effort to maximize existing assets while the company ramps up its primary copper and zinc concentrate production. Beyond the initial pit, ACG sees significant exploration upside, estimating an additional 5 to 10 million tonnes of mineralization within the license area. The project is designed to integrate seamlessly into current logistics, utilizing established haulage routes and existing contractors to maintain low operational costs.
