Since its October 2025 launch, Moonlock has distinguished itself from traditional, cold security software by focusing on a human-centric interface. The company’s goal is to remove the intimidation factor often associated with digital protection, ensuring that users of all backgrounds can navigate security protocols without needing specialized expertise. Oleg Stukalenko, Head of Product Management at Moonlock, noted that the team intended to make online protection a seamless, natural part of daily life rather than a source of stress.
This recognition marks the fourth time MacPaw has received a Red Dot honor, following wins for Gemini 2 in 2017, CleanMyMac in 2021, and CleanMy®Phone in 2024. The Red Dot jury, composed of 30 international experts, evaluates entries based on the strength of the core idea and its real-world impact. For MacPaw, the award serves as validation of their broader philosophy: that high-quality design is as vital to cybersecurity as the underlying code.
