SIG SAUER Unveils P385 Pistol Series at SIG NEXT Innovation Event

The P385 series centers on a redesigned fire control unit and the SIG Recoil Dampening System, a combination engineered to provide a flatter shooting profile. According to Eric McKenzie, Director of Commercial Product Management, the platform was developed from the ground up to improve accuracy and trigger consistency. The pistol features a low bore axis, a carbon steel barrel, and the MAGSTRAP grip module, which allows users to adjust both grip length and frame size to fit individual needs.

Available in black and coyote brown, the lineup includes five distinct configurations: P385-MACH3D, P385-COMP, P385-FULL, P385-CARRY, and P385-COMPACT. Each model features fully ambidextrous controls and SIG-LOC optic compatibility, with optional manual thumb safeties. Retail availability is scheduled for late 2026. Alongside the P385, the company expanded its P211 pistol line with new polymer-grip variants and debuted the XRAY5, a 1x24MM red dot sight featuring solid-state architecture and digital zeroing capabilities controlled via a mobile application.
